Been busy.. updates - Summarizing My First Year Degree Experience on Software Engineering

Assalamualaikum and good evening, just finished my first year degree(about 4-5 months ago) for Software Engineering and I've decided to halt my progress. I will list down the subjects I've learned on my second semester and I feel like they had turned it up a notch this sem(or maybe I had gotten lazy).

Finished our Java Assignment on to the next journey..

Assalamu'alaykum and good evening, I'm writing to you now as I'm doing my mathmatical revision for tomorrow's(today) test. I really hope to pass this one. Anyway, we've done finishing up our Java assignment. It turned out that a friend of mine did EVERYTHING on his own and left me daunted and dumbstruck as to how he did that. Little do I know that he had ripped the programme from a senior student doing 2nd year degree and all my effort into doing my part had been wasted(I spent a good whole lot of 3 weeks doing that only to be cast aside). Anyway I wasn't mad but it's kinda underwhelming and tiring if you make an effort and then people change their mind quickly. Well that's what had gone down in my group assignment and we didn't arrange our documentation well either. I hope to change this way of doing programming as I proceed on to my 2nd semester Insha'allah. Wish me the best and make Dua' for me

Our first assignment

So basically we're ordered to do a system parking reservation system using Java as that is the only programming we are learning for our first sem. It's kinda hard(real hard) if you've never program before, so we had 3 months to finish it and there's only about 3 weeks left before the due date. I've encountered several problems such as not knowing what the heck I'm suppose to be searching on youtube and got lost on boolean, string tokenizers and scanner and not knowing what kinds of question to be asked. Alhamdulillah, our lecturer actually gave us the code to use(not complete but at least there's something right?) and I managed to do my part which was basically the registration system. However, the code seems to be not running again for some reason and I have to copy and paste the original code and modify the code(again) one by one to see if it is working or not.

Well that's that and I hope you will gain knowledge before entering this mind boggling yet fascinating course. Also there's like another assignment that I had to hand in on the same due date such as this. I will post more Insha'Allah stay tuned!
